Free community event celebrating the heritage of Clough Hall Park – this time celebrating its sporting heritage from when it was the Paradise of the Potteries. Take part in a range of sporting activities and games.

It’s back for 2018.  Last year saw over 10,000 people attend this amazing FREE event. The theme this year will be commemorating the end of WW1. See poster for details of attractions

Paradise of the Potteries 2

Free community event celebrating the heritage of the park – this time themed around the more acrobatic elements of the park’s history.

28 May from 14:00–18:00, Clough Hall Park, Free entry.

Confirmed acts include Paul Silver, fire performer, stilt walker and statue, Dawn Rowley’s Dance Academy who will be running dance workshops and their young dancers will be doing a performance for all to enjoy and FlowBalance doing slack-lining and Indo Balance Board workshops and performances.

Circolombia-Acéléré

Appetite presents Circolombia – Acéléré, fresh from their current world-tour and we’re absolutely thrilled to bring this amazing circus concert to Clough Hall Park in Kidsgrove for one weekend only. Don’t miss these South America performers as they sing, rock and rap their way through an evening filled with insane circus stunts, death-defying acrobatics and the most crazy tricks, flips and aerial work.

From 10-13 May at Clough Hall Park in Kidsgrove you can catch the world-class Circolombia with their show Acéléré. The show combines an intense, Latin styled, up-tempo soundtrack with jaw-dropping contemporary circus acts – a combination that makes it both a family circus show and an extra special music gig!

Fresh from appearances in Amsterdam and the National Theatre in Helsinki, the company come to Newcastle-under-Lyme for the next stop of their current world tour. Stopping off at Clough Hall Park in Kidsgrove for one weekend only, tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event are on sale now with plenty of group and family offers available.

Be aware that early booking is strongly advised to ensure you don’t miss this incredible South American circus concert.

Standard tickets (from 31 March): £8.95 for an adult and £4.50 for under 16s. Family tickets for 4, 5 and 6 are still discounted and you can get four mates to go for just £30.00

‘Under 3s Go Free’ tickets are available for this show by contacting Box Office as above. Please note, under 3s will not be issued a seat but will need to sit with their parent / guardian. If your under 3 year old requires a seat please book an Under 16 ticket.

The Great Lakes of Kidsgrove Heritage Walk

The Great Lakes of Kidsgrove…or How Did Blood Pool Get it’s Name?. Another one of our heritage walks led by the wonderful Philip Leese. Meet 10.45 for 11am start at Bathpool Park car park. Five bodies of water, two parks and plenty of fascinating stories about the people and places of Kidsgrove!

The walk is mostly flat but a few slight inclines and will be muddy if it is/has been raining. Wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing dependnig on the weather. Unfortunately most of the walk is not really suitable for people with mobility problems.
